foggy first day

I'm a senior, I shouldn't have 1) an 8:30 class 2) that is 100 level 3) in the second largest lecture hall.

oh well.

I dislike that it is a chilly 60degs at 7am so I have to wear jeans and a cardigan. But then come noon, it will be 88degs and I will be a sweaty mess. Hoorah.

that's Binghamton for you.

at least I had my coffee this morning. Joy.

Good luck everyone!

Random summer stuff

I don't know how but summer passed by sooooo fast. First of all, I want to wish several sisters a happy birthday on this new blog!!!
  • Christina "AniMari" Lee -- Your birthday party was so much fun! The homemade hamburgers were the best thing in the world.
  • Yali "Korie" Lin -- Happy birthday to my Little! Your pledge sisters and I have a surprise waiting for you when you come back to Bing!.
  • Shannon "Midir" Leung -- For being 22 and definitely more beautiful and fabulous.

I hope everybody had fun this summer! I had an eventful summer, one that I learned a lot from. I learned that kids are NOT cute when you have to teach all 25 of them how to swim in the freezing cold water. I learned that sunscreen is a very good bug repellent. I also learned that the 3-floor Forever 21 in Times Square is not a good place to be since you will want to buy almost everything there. But most importantly, I learned that Brazilian food is very good, especially when you get to try it with two of my favorite ppl, Missy "LaVera" Lavides and Amanda "Avalena" Wu!

Although I know going back to Bing means going back to the piles and piles of work waiting for me there, I'm still extremely excited to go back and catch up with everyone! Enjoy the rest of the summer everybody!

Summer 2010

I cannot believe that the summer is almost coming to an end! I hope everyone found some time to relax and make happy memories. Indeed, it was great to be home with family and friends and GOOD FOOD... but I'm very excited to start the new school semester!

Is it really nerdy of me to look forward to opening to the first page of a new notebook? :-)

My goals for this academic year are to explore the campus more and to experience as much Binghamton activities as possible! I still haven't been to a sports game and it is my senior year. I promise to take more pictures, too.

Have a wonderful and safe rest of summer 2010 -- spend more time with family and friends (and eat more yummy food) before you return to Bing!
